“Flock & Walk”: The Walking Club

• Usually around 10.30am, once or twice a month (dates vary). Get some fresh air, movement, and connect with some fellow moms.

• Moms of all stages are welcome… strollers, carriers, or come solo.

• Location will vary each week. If there’s a coffee shop close by, we’ll plan to make that our meeting spot, because… fuel ;-)

  • Wednesday 3rd Dec: 10am at Trout Lake (meet by car park/ community centre entrance)

  • Thursday 11th Dec: 10.30am at Deer Lake Park (Meet on the path near the canoe rentals), with host YVEE.

  • Thursday 18th Dec: 10.30am at Olympic village, with host Johanna (Meet outside Terra Breads).

“The Daily Grind” Coffee CLub

• 2nd Wednesday of the month at 10am at Olivier’s La Boulangerie, 3885 Fraser St. Your new favourite excuse to get out the house, fuel the day with some caffeine, and connect with fellow parents.

• Olivier’s has free 2 hour parking outside, as well as side street parking available. They have a small kiddy table and books to hopefully allow you 5 minutes to drink your coffee hot (whaaaaaat!?)

• We will occasionally have a “Guest Sip-erstar”… someone who works in the field or might have some wisdom & inspiration to share with us.

“The Flockin’ Roast” Coffee CLub

• This event is open to all parents… moms, dads, and everyone in-between.

• 4th Wednesday of the month at 10.15am at Mums the Word, Commercial Drive.

Brews & Babies Dads’ meet up

• The MotherFlock’s (or should I say, FatherFlock?) latest hang… a chance for dads to connect, grab a brew, and give those mamas a much-needed break. Because dads need connection too.

  • Sunday 14th December at 11am: Brewery crawl in East Van (partners invited; starting location tbc)

Moms’ Brunch Club

• Did you picture mat leave as slow mornings, hot coffee, and causally sampling Vancouver’s best brunch scene? LOL, us too! But let’s make the brunch dream sort of happen. Chaos guaranteed.

“Flock on Tap” Brewery Hang

• By popular demand, we're finally bringing a monthly brewery hang that's not just for the dads, thanks to hosts Allanah & Angie.

• December Event:

  • August Brewing on Friday 12th at 12.30pm. Carriers encouraged (space is upstairs so pretty inaccessible); Food truck on site from 1pm

Future MotherFlockers: Mama Meet Up

• Hang out with future MotherFlockers as you start to build out your support network. Chat, swap stories, share tips and advice, and generally just have a good ol' time with host Amanda, and other mamas-to be.

• December event:

  • Tuesday 9th: 3pm at Flourist

Moms’ Night Out: Trivia

• (Mom) brain, beer, and a chance to get out of bedtime?! Yes Please! Join us for trivia at East Van Brewing

• Only 7 spots available. If you need to cancel last minute (the more notice the better!), please cancel via eventbrite and DM Gemma on Instagram (to allow another mama the chance to take your spot).
