Having a baby in 2025-2026?Vancouver’s
Postpartum MOM Group
Fast becoming Vancouver’s must-have experience for new moms, our 5/6 week long postpartum group is the baby group with a difference: it’s all about Mom. A chance for you to be spoiled, relax, find community, share experiences, learn about resources & self-care tips, and build friendships. Essentially, come out with your own little mom tribe, feeling empowered, and ready to rock this whole mom thing!
Locations:
Trout Lake Community Centre, Vancouver
Kitsilano Community Centre, Vancouver
The Space, Lonsdale Quay, North Van
Little Words Studio, Burnaby
Project Play, Langley
Please note:
Please register for the appropriate month of your baby’s birth. E.g. September - November baby moms’ session will start in January; November - January baby moms’ will start in February. Each location has different date limits.
Mark your calendars with the registration dates so you don’t miss out on a spot. If you’re registering via the City of Vancouver, you can add the class to your waitlist prior to this, to make checkout quicker on the day!
You might not be able to see future groups further ahead than this… keep checking as you near the birth of your baby. We run sessions throughout the year: generally two sessions in the spring (Apr-Jun), two in the fall (Sept-Dec), and two in the winter (Jan-Mar).
Interested but can’t register yet? Sign up to our email newsletter & follow on Instagram to stay on top of registration dates and to receive further news and updates.
Vancouver moms: Financial Assistance may be available for those that qualify through the CoV’s Leisure Access Program or Trout Lake’s subsidy program. For more info, see here.

Because Vancouver moms deserve more…Connection
As Vancouver’s only closed, in-person postpartum support group, our priority to to connect you with other moms who are at the exact same stage as you. Bond over the chaos and cultivate lifelong friendships over the six weeks… this is building your own village!
Knowledge
We’ll share advice and strategies on what’s worked for us, as well as build our knowledge of some of the resources out there. For some groups, guest speakers from a variety of specialties focused on postpartum support and wellness will be sharing their tips and advice on how to thrive during the fourth trimester and beyond. Because knowledge is power!
Empowerment
We’ll be chatting and sharing experiences on matrescence, feeding, identity shifts, birth stories, mental health, and surviving the everyday! Because prioritizing yourself, allows you to be the best version of yourself for your baby.
Statement of inclusivity
Here at The MotherFlock, we are committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive space for all postpartum mothers and caregivers. We celebrate the diversity of motherhood in all its forms, welcoming people of all races, ethnicities, religions, abilities, body types, gender identities, sexual orientations, and family structures.
