First off, I'm so sorry you're going through this. Miscarriage is a deeply personal and painful experience, and it's okay to feel a whirlwind of emotions - grief, confusion, anger, or even numbness. There’s no right way to grieve. However you’re feeling right now - it’s valid. You don’t have to be okay. And remember you're not alone - there are compassionate resources in Vancouver ready to support you.
BC Women's Hospital
BC Women’s website offers information, treatment options, and resources for those experiencing miscarriage and dealing with grief. If you are experiencing complications in early pregnancy, contact their Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic. Their Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Clinic provides medical evaluations and short-term grief counseling: A referral is required for these services.
Baby Bean Consulting
Angel from Baby Bean is a truly amazing resource. She supports women navigating miscarriage, pregnancy after loss, birth trauma, and postpartum transitions. Baby Bean’s team of registered nurses helps coordinate care and provide emotional support services .

Butterfly Run BC
Butterfly Run BC organizes memorial runs to support those who have experienced infertility, pregnancy loss, and infant loss. These events aim to create community, raise awareness, and fundraise for supporting programs . They also offer a virtual support group, in-person groups in Kelowna & Nanaimo (at time of writing), a pregnancy after loss prenatal class, counselling, care cards, and bereavement boxes.
Empty Cradle Bereaved Parents Society
ECBPS is a monthly peer support group offering friendship and understanding to parents who have experienced pregnancy or infant losses. They meet in-person in New Westminster (& virtually). Founded in 1991, they provide a safe, caring environment to listen and support one another, as well as a list of helpful resources on their website.
Fieldwork Counselling
Fieldwork offers a Reproductive Loss Support Group held in-person on Sundays at 5 pm in Vancouver. The sessions are free, but registration is required .
Robyn Kozak Counselling
Robyn specializes in perinatal and reproductive mental health. Based in Burnaby, Robyn offers both in-person and virtual sessions to support individuals during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond .
There are many other clinical counsellors around Vancouver that also offer support in navigating the emotional journey of miscarriage, fertility issues, loss, and birth trauma.

Postpartum Support International
PSI offers over 50 free virtual support groups, including ones focused on pregnancy and infant loss. These groups provide a space to connect with others who understand what you're going through .
Brood Care
Brood provides doula services and online courses developed by experienced professionals. Their Miscarriage and Early Loss online course helps you cope both medically and emotionally .

You don’t have to move on - you’re allowed to move through this at your own pace. And it's okay to seek help and lean on others during this time.
