In a city as vibrant and diverse as Vancouver, no parent should have to worry about ensuring they have the right supplies to care for their baby. When babies go through clothing and grow out of their car seat faster than you can say “Four month sleep regression”, it’s hard to know what to do with ALL… THAT… STUFF. That’s where BabyGoRound comes in - an incredible charity, located on Kingsway (with a new location now open in Surrey), lighting the way for families by providing essential baby gear and supplies to those facing tough times. With compassion at its core and community as its backbone, BabyGoRound is helping parents and caregivers access the items they need to care for their children safely and comfortably. How It Works (AKA: The Magic Behind the Mission)
BabyGoRound isn’t just a place to pick up baby gear—it’s a full-circle support system. Here's how it works:
Local families, companies, and do-gooders donate new and gently used baby items to BabyGoRound. Then, through a referral system with over 100 partner agencies (think healthcare providers, social workers, and community organizations), BabyGoRound connects with families in need.
Once referred, parents or caregivers are welcomed into a warm, supportive space where they can select the gear they need -everything from strollers to swaddles. It’s all about preserving dignity, reducing stress, and making sure every baby has a safe, cozy start to life.
What to Donate (Think Baby Essentials with Heart)
Got baby gear gathering dust in your basement? Give it a second life! BabyGoRound is always looking for:
Strollers (because every baby deserves a smooth ride)
Car seats (current safety standards only, please!)
Cribs and bassinets
Baby carriers and high chairs
Diapers and wipes (new and unopened)
Clothing (newborn–24 months)
Feeding supplies and baby toys
And more
Make sure everything is clean, gently used, and not on any recall lists. Think: Would I feel good giving this to a friend’s baby? If yes - bring it in! You’ll be helping another parent sleep a little easier (literally and figuratively).
How to Donate
BabyGoRound has specific collection days, listed on their website, for drop off at their Kingsway and Surrey location.

Don’t have any items to donate? You can still give through their Registry.
Making a financial donation is also an option.
Looking for other ways to help? BabyGoRound is always looking for volunteers, whether that’s helping sort & prepare donations on site, collecting used gear as a Community Champion, or hosting a drive.
How to Access Services
If you or someone you know is in need of support, the first step is a referral from a referring agency. Once that’s in place, BabyGoRound schedules a private appointment at their Vancouver location. During the appointment, they can select the items they need, ensuring they have the necessary supplies to care for their children.
