The Best Balls of All Time? Say Hello To Your Go-to Snack to Gift A New Mom
This recipe was passed on to me from a good friend, after I requested it following a delightful postpartum delivery from her. I don’t even like peanut butter… but these?! So good! And now, it’s become my go-to snack to make for other new moms, and become a regular treat at our New Mom Group. PLUS our toddler loves them. And yes, literally EVERYONE asks for the recipe afterwards.
The original recipe comes from Meaningfull Living.
Ingredients
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup ground flax meal
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well to combine (mixture will be very thick and sticky).
Scoop and then roll between your palms, so they are uniform in size.
Place oat bites onto a sheet tray.
Refrigerate & eat within 7 days or freeze and enjoy within 3 months.
Tips
Remember, kids under 1 should not have honey
Triple the batch, and freeze a bunch. Snacks for days!
